Meet The Team

Jonathan R. Brooks, GMB, CGR, CAPS

President

Jonathan is a Graduate Master Builder (GMB), a  Certified Graduate Remodeler™ (CGR), a Certified Aging In Place Specialist (CAPS), and  Certified Green Professional (CGP). These are prestigious national building and remodeling certifications earned through rigorous classroom work, periodic testing, and many years of field experience.

Jonathan holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the Colorado Leeds School of Business (Class of 1997). Jonathan also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular biology from the University of Maryland. He has worked in the remodeling and construction trades since 1989.

Prior to starting Brooks Design-Build Corporation, Jonathan was a Product Manager and Regional Business Manager for BioStar, a bio-technology firm in Boulder.  Jonathan is also very happily married to his wife Megan, who is a homemaker.  They have three kids; Twelve year-old Greyson, a ten year-old boy, Hunter, and their eight year-old little girl, Kendall.  Jonathan’s hobbies include four-wheeling, hunting, fishing, dirt biking, and reading.

Duane Hahn

Sales and Design 

Duane began his career in Arizona where he worked as a lead field supervisor for numerous large commercial and government projects. Duane has owned and operated a full service residential design/construction firm for several years. He has also been hired to create, develop, and grow other successful design-build firms in Colorado. Duane is skilled in: design/architecture, sales, scheduling, and management of multiple projects. He is certified in scheduling and estimating and is an award winning designer (HBA). Duane holds numerous class B licenses and supervisors certifications in the Metro area, including Denver and Aurora.

Christy Lindsey

Office Manager

Christy is a native of Boulder and life-long friend of Jonathan’s wife, Megan.  Prior to starting with Brooks Design-Build Corporation, Christy spent six years as the office manager of Mount Zion Lutheran, a private school in Boulder school district.  She is happily married and has a son.  She and her family live in Firestone.  

Selene Knudson

Receptionist and Marketing Assistant

Selene is a student at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and is majoring in Classics. She enjoys spending time outside and in the mountains, reading, traveling and football. She spent the Fall of 2006 studying abroad in Greece and will be getting married this August 2007. She lives in Boulder with her fiancé and their many pets

Rich Hollywood

Master Carpenter

Rich started with us in 2002 and has been a valuable asset ever since.  He has been a carpenter for more than 16 years and has been specializing in fine finish carpentry for more than 8 years.  He is also very talented as a framer.  Rich is happily married and lives in Johnstown.

Tony Klausner

Master Carpenter

Tony has 23 years experience as a carpenter and is a master framer and finish carpenter.  Tony has been working with us since 2001 and continues to be an excellent member of our team.  Tony lives in Frederick.

Brandon Rich

Associate Carpenter / Handyman

Brandon started with us early in 2006 and has been doing a great job ever since.  He spends almost all of his time in the field helping Rob and the carpenters as needed.  Brandon lives in Longmont.
